(TheWorkShop) – A open art workshop for kids. Yes, a place to work! A place of creativity and freedom where kids of different ages were invited to participate in a variety of workshops over the course of one week. Kids could build, form, paint, draw, design, glue, saw, hammer and much more. It was their art-space, designed to be a playground for creativity and kids could use it however they saw fit. If the result was a picture, an object, a sculpture or a furniture piece was entirely up to the kids…

This project aims to discover the living surrounding of the orphans’ home. Kids are encouraged to take a proper and potentially new look at their habitat and find new places they like and don’t like. They where asked to classify the places with post-its in order to understand how they feel there. The kids should feel active and strong being able to design their own landscapes and surroundings.
Finally, the kids build their own protection spirits which fulfill their wishes and needs and are placed accordingly to the kids’ stories.
